the settlers of catan game is amazing. only thin about this edition is the fact that the ports dont come connected to the water hexes. makes the homebrew variation i play more difficult.

If you love Settlers of Catan, purchasing the expansion pack will only increase your joy! My group of friends and I are now fully addicted to this game and play at *least* once a week. The expansion pack allows up to six people to play at once. There are some subtle changes to the game which make things more interesting. Most notably, you can build roads, settlements, and cities at the end of every player's turn. This makes the game go much more quickly and there's no more panicked waiting for your turn or fear of a seven being rolled and demolishing your development dreams! Also, the board is larger and you get more development and resource cards, etc. I highly recommend this product! Enjoy!

Great extension pack for a great game. A definite must if you're going to be playing with 5 or more people, and makes strategies a lot different than the original game with everyone able to build even when it's not their turn. Settlers has become mine and my wife's favorite new game!
